About running Winery Pro on your computers...

Cross Platform Capability - Winery Pro runs on FileMaker Pro - the most widely used cross-platform database in the world. You can run Winery Pro on a Mac or PC and a mixed network environment. The specifications for the type of computer you are using are listed below.

Credit Card Processing - Our optionally integrated credit card processing requires that you have a solid connection to the internet via high speed or dial up.

Computer Memory - Even though FileMaker suggests a minimum of 512k for your computer memory - Winery Pro needs a minimum of 2GB RAM.

POS Hardware - If you run the POS system you will benefit from using POS add-ons such as the mag reader, cash drawer and receipt printer. We have a list of pre-tested POS hardware available upon request. We can purchase the hardware for you or you can do it yourself.

Multiple Users - You will be able to operate Winery Pro with up to three (3) concurrent users on a peer to peer network and no file server.  Once you reach four (4) concurrent users you will need to run a dedicated database server with FileMaker Server installed.

Single User Portability - If your desire is to operate Winery Pro on two computers - you may do so as long as you have FileMaker 10 loaded on both computers.  You will be able to copy the Winery Pro database folder to any computer running FileMaker 10.
